Privacy
Respectful handling of family and child information.
Mama & Child English seeks to collect only the information reasonably needed for inquiries, educational planning, scheduling, communication, and service delivery.
Information families may provide
Initial inquiries may include the parent or guardian’s name and email, the child’s preferred name, age or grade, country and time zone, program interest, learning goals, preferred schedule, and relevant learning information the adult chooses to share.
Why information is used
Information may be used to answer questions, recommend an educational pathway, arrange a Welcome Session or class, prepare instruction, communicate progress, issue learning materials, manage payment and scheduling records, and provide requested family resources.
Child information
Child information should be limited to educational purposes, accessed only by people who need it for the program, and not sold to advertisers. Families should not send unnecessary identity documents, medical records, school IDs, financial details, or other highly sensitive information in an initial email.
Recording, photographs, and promotional use
Classes are not recorded, photographed, or used for marketing without clear written consent from the parent or legal guardian. Consent for one purpose does not automatically authorize another purpose and may be discussed or withdrawn for future use.
Website forms and communication providers
Website form submissions are routed to the Mama & Child English program address through FormSubmit. The provider states that submissions may be retained for up to 30 days. Email, video-conferencing, payment, scheduling, hosting, and file-storage providers may also process limited information needed to deliver the service.
International and cross-border service
Mama & Child English is developed through ABC Learning Solutions in the Philippines and may serve families, cofounders, educators, or providers in Japan and other countries. Information may therefore be handled across borders when reasonably necessary for the requested service. The program seeks to use suitable providers, restrict access, and explain material changes before connecting new systems.
Consent for younger learners
A parent or legal guardian should submit information and approve enrollment for a minor. Older children and teens should also be told, in age-appropriate language, what information is being used and why. The program will not rely on a child to authorize promotional use of recordings, photographs, or personal learning information.
Free Family Registry
Registry information is used to send the educational resources, updates, program information, events, and occasional offers selected by the adult who registered. Free registration is separate from class enrollment. A family may ask to change its preferences or stop future registry messages.
Teacher applications
Prospective teachers may provide contact details, location and time zone, qualifications, teaching experience, availability, teaching examples, program interests, and an optional professional-profile link. This information is used to assess a possible teaching fit, communicate about an application, and maintain appropriate recruitment records. Applicants should not submit identity documents, police clearances, banking information, medical information, or other highly sensitive records through the initial website form.
Application information is not a promise of acceptance or work. Additional information or checks may be requested separately only when relevant to a role, lawful in the applicable location, and handled through an appropriate process.
Retention and family requests
Educational, application, and business records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for service, recruitment, legal, accounting, safety, and professional purposes. A family member, adult learner, or applicant may ask to review, correct, or request deletion of information, subject to applicable requirements and legitimate record-keeping needs.
